Ogden House is a housing facility for elderly and certain non-elderly disabled or handicapped residents. There is one building of three stories, served by two elevators, with 80 one bedroom units, and 4 two bedroom units. There are 9 handicap-adapted units and the entire building is accessible. There is a community room, lounge, library, craft room for activities, a laundry room on each floor, an office and maintenance area.
The facility is owned by Ogden House, Inc., a non-profit organization and is sponsored by New Samaritan Corporation. The facility is financed by the US Department of HUD and as such follows the regulations of that agency. A Housing Assistance Payment Contract with the federal government provides that the rent for residents will be calculated at 30% of their adjusted income. All utilities except cable and phone are included in the rent.
This apartment accepts HUD subsidies.
For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
