The Arc of Mercer County Apartment Details

The Arc of Mercer County (MCAR) owns and operates 17 group homes located in the community.

All are single-family, one-level houses that are well-kept, comfortable, safe, and can accommodate wheel chairs and walkers.

A MCAR group home residence is like any regular home. 

It the same types of accommodations, furnishings, and activities.

The individuals who live in the group homes are supported 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by loving, caring staff.

Staff assist residents with developing skills that will allow the individuals the greatest independence and satisfaction possible.

Group home residents have their own bedroom that is decorated the way they would like it with their own furnishings.

The residents share the common living areas and enjoy their meals together.

Each home has its own vehicle to transport residents to day programs, medical appointments, and to enjoy recreational and social activities in the community.

This apartment accepts HUD subsidies. For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. Call for details.
