To qualify for housing assistance payments, there are maximum income limits.
Those who qualify do not pay more than 30% of their annual adjusted income for rent.
You must also have favorable references showing that you have abided by leases and rules of your former residences, paid your rent on time and kept your home in safe and sanitary condition, etc.
Residents also receive a utility allowance to subsidize your gas and electric bill which is subtracted from rent.
Each building has 38 apartments, an elevator, central laundry facilities, central trash chute, or central trash room, inside mailboxes, and an family room for large gatherings and activities.
Off-Street parking is well-lighted. Included in your rent are your payments for trash, water and sewer. The electricity, gas, cable and phone are the tenants responsibility.
A resident council in each building plans activities, such as monthly dinners, birthday parties, carry-ins and Bible studies.
Meals, housekeeping, personal care can be established by an on staff coordinator.
Medical care and medication monitoring are not provided by staff but can be set up through an outside agency.
This apartment accepts HUD subsidies.
For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
