Denver Housing Authority provides decent and safe rental housing for families and individuals. They provide low income housing, public housing, multifamily housing programs, and section 8 housing.Families who are interested in applying for the HCV Program must participate in the random choice lottery. The Lottery is opened annually for two days. Visit the housing authority website provided for details on the lottery days.The Denver Housing Authority owns and manages over 3800 Conventional Low Rent Public Housing units located throughout the City and County of Denver. There are several types of housing available ranging from conventional row-type developments, dispersed housing (scattered single or cluster family houses), and high-rise buildings designated for elderly persons and persons with disabilities.
