Harford County Housing & Community Development works to provide affordable housing opportunities for low to moderate income residents of Harford County. They administer a range of Federal, State, and County funded programs providing opportunities for affordable home ownership, loans and grants for special needs housing programs, rental assistance, renter protection through Livability Code enforcement, first-time homebuyers, housing preservation, foreclosure prevention, economic mobility, family self-sufficiency, and financial literacy.
Harford County Housing & Community Development strives to offer housing and supportive services for low-income families, seniors, and those with disabilities, so they can become self-sufficient and productive residents of the community. They encourage and contribute to the development of healthy, productive, self-sustaining communities throughout Harford County by creating partnerships with the municipalities, public agencies, civic and community members to identify and begin to address the needs of the citizens and the communities that live within the county.
