Macclenny Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of Low Rent Public Housing. These rentals are income based and the eligibility requirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for this programs rentals and at times the list may close to new applicants due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and the size of the list. The Housing Authority currently manages 80rentals that range in size from 1 - 5 bedrooms and are located throughout 3 sites. The areas Housing Choice Voucher Program is operated through The Baker County Housing Assistance Program .
