The 2007 homeless count conducted by the lo Angeles homeless services authority estimates that on any given night in LA County more than 75,000 people are without housing.
Almost 20% are families with children.
The number of homeless families and individuals is steadily increasing due in large part to an acute shortage of affordable housing in nearly all of the county's communities.
LA Family housing helps families and individuals transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.
