Residents lead full, active lives and take advantage of programs and services that promote healthy living and intellectual stimulation.
Residents routinely enjoy: international celebrations; computer-based activities; gardening; Tai Chi and biking; book and thespian clubs; exercise classes; music and singing parties; lively discussion groups; intergenerational learning with students; and visits from therapy dogs.
Meals, Full dinners are served Monday through Friday in the dining room.
Two full menu options are planned to meet nutritional and preferential needs. Participation in the meal program is optional. For those who choose to participate, the cost is $165 per person. This includes nightly dinner service Monday-Friday.
There is also an optional weekday lunch program available at a cost of $3.00 per day or a lunch meal ticket can be purchased at a savings of $25 for 11 meals.
A free shuttle to Downtown Palo Alto and the Stanford Shopping Center is provided by the City of Palo Alto. Outreach is a transportation option for mobility limited seniors in Santa Clara County. The staff will assist residents in applying for this service.24-Hour Assistance .
Emergency call systems are standard equipment in each apartment and emergency on call personnel are available 24 hours per day.
Translation Services Translators are available for Russian, Chinese and Spanish speakers.
Special Equipment Grab bars and shower chairs will be installed upon request.
