City of El Monte Affordable Housing List Apartment Details

The city of El Monte provides and affordable housing list of low income housing for low and moderate income households. They also provide a list of low income housing for seniors in the city of El Monte.

The Economic Development Department - Housing Division is continuously working with for-profit and non-profit housing developers to create a wide range of affordable rental and homeownership affordable housing options to meet community housing needs. The City's housing programs are made possible through funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - Office of Community Planning and Development through the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME). Additional sources of funding include low-income housing tax credits, developer equity and private financing.
