This affordable housing program is for individuals and families with moderate incomes allowing below market rents for those who qualify. Gateway Village Apartments in Farmersville consists of sixteen 2-bedroom, twenty-four 3-bedroom and eight 4-bedroom units with carports. Each unit includes washer/dryer hookups, built-in microwave, energy-efficient refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and air conditioning.
The complex has an on-site laundry facility, a swimming pool, and a Community Room with computer lab and exercise room. There is a barbecue area with a playground, equipped with tables and benches for family gatherings. These units are available to families with incomes below 60% of the area median and can accommodate families with 3 to 9 members. Gateway Village includes a solar energy system which is a renewable energy source recognized by the California Energy Commission. Rents include water, garbage and sewer.
USDA Rental Assistance is available for some units. Housing Choice Voucher holders may also apply.
