The renovation of the historic Jenkins High School into 26 apartments for seniors 55+ was completed in January of 2014. These brand 1 and 2 bedroom new apartment homes all have fully equipped kitchens with a dishwasher and microwave. There is an elevator that serves all floors and a community laundry room onsite. Beautifully landscaped ground and a fitness room is also offered onsite. The local Senior Citizen center operates out of the former gymnasium onsite and offers low cost daily lunch Monday - Friday to residents and community members.
