The women's institute is an award-winning affordable housing developer that leverages its real estate development expertise to form partnerships with community-based organizations for the creation of permanently affordable housing, community facilities, and economic programming that serve low-income people and families throughout the region.

With the development of over 55 properties already under their belt, the organization currently has several projects in production that will create over 350 new units of affordable and supportive housing across Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Additionally, the women's institute provides planning and technical services to organizations to increase their capacity as housing and service providers.

The women's institute seeks to ensure that economic security and independence can become a reality for low-income individuals and families.
