Housing for Individuals & Families
We set a precedent in the State with the purchase and preservation of the 26-unit Pacific View Apartments in Morro Bay. By completing the first successful buyout of a Farmers Home Administration (FmHA) "at risk" project we helped avert the displacement of the low income residents. A number of these residents had been residents since it was built in 1976. At the time of purchase in 1991, PSHH helped avoid the re-sale and conversion of these apartments to market rate, which had occurred several times between 1977 and 1991.
