Permanent affordable housing community in the City of American Canyon. The apartments are clustered into thirteen three story buildings, and the property includes a large pool, multiple "tot lot" play areas, and a community center with a computer lab, fitness center, and a large multipurpose room. Also integrated into the Vineyard Crossings community is a state-of-the-art child care facility. This facility is open to residents and the general public, and is run by Child Start, a local non-profit that provides child care to low-income families. Lessons are provided in two classrooms, as well as in a customized outdoor play area. A bike trail that runs through the property will eventually connect to a planned "town center" immediately to the north.
