Hi all! I'm a struggling student in need of financial aid to help me get out of a hole that was dug around me. I grew up in and out of foster care, when I was 14 I ran away from home and my father was sent to jail for doing the unspeakable to me, his daughter, and ever since then it feels I have been failed left and right by a system that does not care. Living on my own since 17, struggling to find work, and struggling with the PTSD that such childhood trauma brings Now that I am finally in a space to help myself, mentally, I am being put in a situation where my livelihood is being threatened by homelessness.
