Where to begin last year on November 12 2017 my father in law passed away then December 12 2017 my mother in law followed her husband shortly after that my husband lost his job my husband a very proud retired army veteran lost his father and mother then his job it is now november 12 2018 my husband is still trying to gain some normalcy from loosing his parents who lived with us and he was very close to as well as still being able to find a job not for lack of trying hes either over qualified or under qualified we are living off of my paycheck which for retail isnt very much and his retirement which covers rent and utilities we have exhausted our savings we are on snaps we have almost gotten evicted twice just because we had unexpected bills show up weve had to visit our local food pantry as well as get our boys clothes from the churches closet as im sure most of yall know when you have teens they are very fragile emotionally and mentally both our sons 17 and 15 understand our financial difficulty and are very understanding but we are coming up on the holidays both my boys had to for go their birthdays which they were ok with it broke our hearts and made us proud of the children we raised we are very greatful for any kind of help or advice any pointers on jobs my husband is so depressed i am still so proud of him because some how after all of his loss he still pushes ive turned into his rock and im the only one who truly sees the toll this year has taken on him anything really clothing donations food cash gift cards advice on assistance or a tip on a job we appreciate anything and pay it forward once we get back on our feet thank you ahead of time for even just reading our story prayers are also welcome
