I’m a single mom of 2 AMAZING kids, a 5 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. We have been in 2 domestic violence situations in the Past 4 years and now we unfortunately are back in a DV shelter because of my sons father. Neither are in child support and I have no support from family, friends or the government. We lost most everything. I only went back for my kids items. I’m waiting to hear back from low income housing but that could take years. I honestly hate saying my story because I’m not the type to even acknowledge that I need help; or the fact that I fell short again to life, and that I in fact can’t do this alone.
